Changing Lives This Giving Tuesday

STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING and get your calendars out. Giving Tuesday is on December 3^rd this year! What is Giving Tuesday, you ask? It’s a global generosity movement to inspire people to give to organizations that can make an impact. We hope you’ll stand with us this year and support the Hydrocephalus Association!

Our Giving Tuesday theme this year is Changing Lives.

It’s an exciting year for us because we’re celebrating the 10^th anniversary of our Research Initiative. We can’t think of a more profound way that we’re changing lives than through the accomplishments seen in our research program. Since 2009, HA has invested nearly $10 million in research, enabling us to award 40 grants to brilliant scientists who are deepening our understanding of this complex condition and exploring pathways for treatments that we hope one day will lead to a cure. Today, thanks to our research investments, there are seven drugs currently being tested and 69 peer-reviewed studies about hydrocephalus have been published. 

Help us continue this progress by donating to the Hydrocephalus Association on Giving Tuesday! Whether you give $20 or $100, every dollar will go towards our Research Program so that we can invest in innovative science that gets us closer to a cure!

• Make a donation on our Giving Tuesday donation page on Dec. 3^rd.
• Like and share our #GivingTuesday posts on social media and encourage your friends and family to donate to HA as well.
• Start a Fundraiser for HA on Facebook and be sure to set it up so that it ends midnight on Giving Tuesday – Dec. 3^rd. We recommend starting in 2-3 days before Giving Tuesday. Facebook is matching up to $7 million in donations that come in on Giving Tuesday!
