We convene the nation’s largest gathering of hydrocephalus patients and families through HA CONNECT and engage over 20,000 advocates to raise awareness annually through the WALK to End Hydrocephalus and other programs. In addition, since 2009, HA has invested $13+ million in cutting-edge research, making us the largest non-profit, non-governmental funder of hydrocephalus research in the United States. We created the hydrocephalus research ecosystem that will get us to a cure, funding 3 research networks focused on conducting high-quality hydrocephalus research and launching the nation’s first patient-powered hydrocephalus registry.
