Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network Spring Meeting TorontoPrincipal investigators from the Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network (HCRN) are meeting today and tomorrow at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. The investigators are discussing ongoing studies, including the Shunt Entry Site Trial, and identifying new studies to pursue. The HCRN Patient Registry is going strong, nearing the five thousand patient mark. Data from patients in the registry have already been used in multiple publications that can be found on the HCRN website. The HCRN is composed of nine hospitals across the United States and Canada that are working together to improve clinical outcomes in people with hydrocephalus. HA staff attending the meeting include CEO Dawn Mancuso and our Research Programs Manager, Jenna Koschnitzky, PhD.
