Tracy Morgan Joined By Hollywood Actors and TV/Movie Execs for “In Stitches: A Night of Laughs”

For one night in Los Angeles, 700 people got to hear the hilarious antics of Tracy Morgan and several other comedians while raising awareness and funds for the Hydrocephalus Association’s research, support and education programs. The “In Stitches: A Night of Laughs” comedy show, which took place Friday, April 27, was a star-studded red carpet event, bringing together a number of actors and other members of the Hollywood community.

The event raised over $300,000 for innovative research and support and education programs for hydrocephalus, a chronic brain condition that affects 1 million Americans. Popular stand-up comedians Ardie Fuqua, Tracey Ashley, Ruperto Vanderpool and Marc Theobald brought their unique storytelling and comedic skills to the stage, followed by headliner Tracy Morgan who had the crowd in stitches.

“In Stitches” also helped raise awareness of hydrocephalus and the impact it has on families. Farrah and Brett Weitz, HA board member and EVP of Original Programming for TBS, moved the audience by sharing their daughter Emerson’s powerful journey with hydrocephalus. Every comic urged the audience to support our mission and donate to our cause.
