HA is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager that will assist the National Director of Marketing and Communications with our overall digital marketing strategy and programs. Responsibilities include measuring digital marketing effectiveness and recommending ways to optimize performance and increase efficiency. A deep dive into channel and audience data for organic, paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, SEO, etc. and manage research, reporting and experimentation needed to build growth and drive ROI. Also making recommendations which influence awareness, engagement, growth and retention strategies.
Seeking recent, experienced college graduates; Bachelor's in digital marketing, business, marketing, and/or Communications preferred. Strong analytical skills are required. The position is headquartered at the HA National Headquarters in Bethesda, MD but can be remote.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the overall digital marketing strategy for the association.
- Develop recommendations to enhance both tactical and strategic campaigns.
- Build and operationalize measurement framework for all digital marketing initiatives.
- Oversee, monitor and report on performance across digital channels including tracking key metrics such as traffic, engagement and conversions.
- Provide optimization recommendations using a defined set of metrics.
- Manage paid digital marketing channels, Google Ads and ad retargeting.
- Manage digital trends and identify opportunities in support of association goals.
- Manage social properties - curate and publish content (copy, photos, videos, etc.), moderate, oversee association-to-consumer engagement.
- Assist in creative ideas, engagement tactics, production of social content (copy, graphics, videos), and optimization of campaigns.
- Track and analyze metrics reporting for all channels.
- Work collaboratively with team members overseeing email management and development campaigns to ensure digital marketing strategies are aligned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
This position requires a deep knowledge of all digital & web marketing tools, models and technologies along with an excellent background in developing multiple lead programs and maximizing conversions. Strong attention to detail, the ability to focus and follow through on multiple projects, excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organization skills are essential for success.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on digital marketing and paid web marketing experience
- Knowledge of standard and current PPC practices
- Experience with PPC reporting
- Experience with Google Ads and Google Tag Manager
- Strong working knowledge in creation of campaigns from strategy and design through execution and post campaign analysis
- Ability to make decisions and recommendations based on analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
