In 2021, over 79% of the Hydrocephalus Association’s total operating expenses were used to support our mission of finding a cure and improving the lives of those impacted by hydrocephalus. We are committed to being good stewards of our supporters’ dollars. We also earned high marks from Guidestar, Charity Navigator and other charity watchdog groups.



The Hydrocephalus Association earned a Platinum Seal of Transparency from Guidestar, the world’s leading source of information about nonprofit organizations.


National Health Council

We are proud member of the National Health Council (NHC) and comply with their Standards of Excellence Certification Program. The 38 Standards cover the areas of governance, human resources, programs, fundraising, finance, accounting and reporting, and evaluation.
