A genome wide assessment of noncoding risk variants in congenital hydrocephalus

Dr. Sheng Chih Jin, assistant professor at the Washington University School of Medicine is working to identify novel genomic elements through whole-genome sequencing which may contribute to the development of congenital hydrocephalus (CH). In the nearer term, this could have implications for providing comprehensive diagnoses to hydrocephalus patients. In the longer term, this could inform the development of therapeutic targets for CH.
