Some of us will be driving only a short distance to attend the 15th National Conference on Hydrocephalus scheduled for June 28-30, 2018 in Orange County, CA. Others of us, however will be flying from all over the country to meet new and old friends, expand our knowledge and celebrate our community. For those that are traveling we hope you will take a couple days to explore this wonderful host city for our conference and enjoy the world-famous theme parks and, stunning beaches, designer shopping, delightful fairs and so much more.
The conference hotel, the Irvine Marriott, is just a short 25-minute drive to the world-famous Disneyland Park, Disney’s California Adventure and the always-thrilling Knott’s Berry Farm. Take advantage of specially priced Theme Park Tickets. Discounted ticket store will open February 24, 2018.
Hang ten in Huntington Beach, the original Surf City USA®. Go hiking, trail running or exploring with the kids at a wilderness park or nature preserve. Laugh, cry or sigh at the on-stage artistry at the world-renowned South Coast Repertory Theatre or Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Sample exotic eats and diverse cultures in The OC’s ethnic enclaves. Take your pick of three distinctive shopping destinations, South Coast Plaza, Irvine Spectrum and Fashion Island. Live like a local by checking out one of the many Farmer’s Markets taking place throughout the week, or attend a game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Wherever you turn, The OC beckons with a playful spirit and unlimited possibilities.
