New Study Compares Hydrocephalus Treatments Among Children
 
A new Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network (HCRN) study, published in the Journal of Neurosurgery: Pediatrics, examined differences in the  number of subsequent surgeries a child with hydrocephalus had to undergo after their initial treatment. Each child was treated with a shunt, an endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV), or an ETV with chorioid plexus cauterization (ETV-CPC).
