Yan Ding, PhD

2017 Innovator Award Recipient

TITLE:  Research Associate, Loma Linda University

GOAL:  Understand how Germinal Matrix Hemorrhage (GMH) interferes with the CSF reabsorption process.

Overview:

Dr. Yan Ding is a Research Associate at Loma Linda University. The research of Dr. Ding is focused on how germinal matrix hemorrhage (GMH) progresses to posthemorrhagic hydrocephalus. In her study, The Impact of Germinal Matrix Hemorrhage on the Cerebrospinal Fluid Reabsorption through the Glymphatic System, Dr. Ding will determine the mechanisms behind disordered CSF reabsorption following GMH.
