Rachel Donahue

As Director of Leadership Giving and Signature events, Rachel is part of the Development department and focuses on strengthening relationships across the hydrocephalus community and identifying opportunities for engagement.

Rachel has 20 years of development experience with a consistent track record of exceeding fundraising objectives – a result of her passion and enjoyment of developing genuine relationships with donors, board members, and volunteers while focusing on stewardship efforts that relate to the overall mission. Serving in leadership positions with the Texas Rangers Baseball Organization, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Fort Worth Country Day School, Rachel brings extensive, in-depth knowledge and experience in her wide range of intricate, non-profit roles. Rachel joined HA in April of 2022, where she will continue to efficiently implement her strategies while doing what she loves most about the job, meeting people, and forming loyal, long-lasting relationships.

A lifelong Texan, Rachel currently resides in the DFW Metroplex. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Texas Christian University where she was a four-year letterman on the Women’s Basketball team. Rachel makes it a priority to spend time with her family and friends, focus on her spiritual life, improve her fitness, is a volunteer at her Church and for several local non-profit groups.
