Eileen Rodger, RN, has spent over 30 years as a Registered Nurse working in a variety of roles and medical settings including cardiac, inpatient neuro rehabilitation, home health, and currently in the post anesthesia care unit (PACU) at Coral Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center where she also coordinates their Total Joint Replacement program.

Eileen’s involvement with HA started in 2001 when her six-month-old son, Alex, was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and Eileen and her husband Mike were given an HA educational booklet from Dr. John Ragheb at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. Inspired to make a difference, she has co-chaired the South Florida WALK to End Hydrocephalus since 2009, raising over $700,000 for the Association. Eileen is also a mentor for new WALK chairs, an active peer support volunteer and is currently the Chair of the HA’s Support and Education committee.
