Join our Birthday Challenge!

Earlier this summer, our intern, Emily Lawrence, who was born with hydrocephalus, wanted to celebrate her birthday while also raising much-needed funds for hydrocephalus research, education, and support programs. So, she launched a birthday fundraiser on Facebook and in one month, she was able to raise $750 for the Hydrocephalus Association. Inspired by her passion and dedication, we decided to launch the Birthday Challenge! Our goal is to raise $100,000 to support HA’s mission.

So if you have a birthday coming up, will you help us meet our $100K goal by launching a fundraiser for your birthday? If just 133 of you raised $750 for the Hydrocephalus Association, we would achieve our $100K goal in no time!

Here’s how you can set up your birthday fundraiser:

Through Facebook:
Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed, then Raise Money. Then, type in the Hydrocephalus Association in the search bar, fill in your fundraiser details, and hit create. And you’re done! Then, share it on Facebook and ask your friends and family to donate.

Through the Make Waves for Hydrocephalus – Do It Yourself Fundraiser:
Just contact HA’s staff at DIY@hydroassoc.org and we will help you set it up!
