Federal Officials Designate Two Indiana Hospitals as TBI Model System Sites

Indiana University School of Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana are the two newest members of the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model System started in 1988 by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. The two sites have received a five-year $2,137,500 grant that adds local researchers and physicians to the national network of centers studying and treating traumatic brain injury.
