Does hydrocephalus impact learning? As we continue to learn more about hydrocephalus, it’s important to know that there is not a consistent cognitive profile of hydrocephalus. Medical professionals are just now beginning to understand that the different causes of hydrocephalus can come with different learning issues and challenges.
In our latest webinar, Developing an Effective IEP, held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, Dr. Andrew Zabel, Kara Casey-Kramer, and Amanda Garzon discussed the associated learning challenges children with hydrocephalus may face and also shared how parents and caregivers can put the proper supports in place to help a child succeed in the classroom, particularly with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This webinar included a question and answer session with our presenters as well as handouts.
