The mission of the Hydrocephalus Association is to find a cure for hydrocephalus and improve the lives of those impacted by the condition.

We will accomplish this by collaborating with patients, caregivers, researchers and industry, raising awareness, and funding innovative, high-impact research to prevent, treat and ultimately cure hydrocephalus.


Our vision is a world without hydrocephalus.

The Hydrocephalous Association believes it is critical to sustain a strong sense of community among those affected by hydrocephalus. We also believe that we can be much more effective when we collaborate with respected partners outside of our organization in order to make the best use of limited resources. This value is evidenced by a maintaining a culture that embraces all those affected by hydrocephalus. It is also demonstrated by strong teamwork among volunteers and staff, and by actively pursuing opportunities to work cooperatively and in partnership with other organizations.
