As the Director of Finance and Accounting, Debbie is responsible for HA’s finances including forecasts, budgets, accounting, cash management, financial reporting and analysis. She also develops and implements policies, procedures and process improvements and collaborates with the CEO and management team on strategic planning and decision making. Debbie is a CPA and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She joined HA in May 2016.
Prior to joining HA Debbie served as the Business and Finance Manager for NEA Healthy Futures, a nonprofit organization advocating for and supporting safe and healthy schools. She was responsible for financial analysis and reporting, process improvements, budgets, contracts, and accounting. Before NEA Healthy Futures, Debbie served as Business and Finance Manager of the operations of Adams 12 Five Star Schools, a school district serving over 30,000 students. She also worked in public accounting providing accounting, audit, tax and payroll services to a variety of clients.
