You remind me, once again, how lucky I am! I was also born with Hydrocephalus and have had numerous shunt revisions and other procedures over the course of my 45 years. But, I had not come close to your 100 procedures before I graduated from high school!
I have been through lengthy hospitalizations and have almost died due to infections. I have felt sorry for myself and actually prayed to die numerous times. Next time I feel that way, I will try to think of you and your strength. Hopefully, that will bring me out my depression.
Thank you for sharing your story, and I will pray for you.

You will go on to inspire people more than you already have as time goes on. You are an amazing person with a heart of gold. I am so grateful that I met you. You are beautiful inside and out. Always remember that.
