Happening NOW: New WALK Chair Training

Our new WALK Chairs are meeting this weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a comprehensive training on organizing a local WALK. Topics covered include WALK basics, event day logistics, securing corporate sponsorship, and WALK Committee structure. Representatives from FedEx Office supported our Chairs with a hands-on demonstration of editing and ordering print materials. Randi Corey, our National Director of Special Events & Volunteer Support, is hosting our training with the help of Michael Ticzon, our Special Events Coordinator. Our national WALK program is 100% volunteer-led. We are excited to welcome these new WALK Chairs and thank all of our WALK Chairs around the country!
