The political landscape has already begun to transform under this new Presidential administration and Congress. There has been a lot of movement in regards to potential policy changes affecting the healthcare community. But “progress is impossible without change.”
Many Congressional and Senatorial leaders have emailed questionnaires and/or posted information about phone polls regarding the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The Hydrocephalus Association encourages YOU to make a statement. You have the power to improve and/or change policy by voicing your concerns, expressing opinions and sharing your personal experience. Representatives and Senators have the responsibility to act and speak on the behalf of their constituency. But change starts with you.
The Hydrocephalus Association remains committed to keeping our community informed on issues that impact individuals and families with hydrocephalus. HA will continuously monitor relevant policy proposals, regulations, Executive orders and issues, and will strive to keep you updated on significant progress and developments. HA will work with legislators on both sides of the aisle who are committed to supporting the interests of the hydrocephalus community and we will advocate for policies that further hydrocephalus research and assure access to affordable healthcare.
