Bachelorette Contestant Wins our Hearts in Hershey

BachelorThe Hydrocephalus Association would like to thank Brian Osborne, a season 10 Bachelorette contestant, for supporting our Hydrocephalus Association Hershey, PA WALK, on August 3, 2014. Brian has been an active advocate for hydrocephalus awareness since signing on, actively tweeting about the WALK as well as doing a number of press interviews about hydrocephalus and the Hydrocephalus Association. Brian’s neighbor of over 15 years, Anne Kocsis, is our new Hershey WALK Co-Chair with veteran Chair Danielle Gutshall. Anne’s son, Matt, has hydrocephalus and is a Cumberland Valley High School senior. The families have been close over the years and Brian was inspired to WALK with Matt this year to help raise awareness.

The WALK had over 200 people in attendance or more than double the participants from 2013. Red Robin, characters from Hershey Park, and Cumberland High’s school mascot kept the crowd entertained. Many wonderful volunteers pitched in to help make the day a success.

If you’d like to catch up with the WALK on social media, visit the Hershey, PA WALK on Facebook, or on Twitter look on the @HydroAssoc, @PennStHershey, or @Coach_Osborne feeds. You can also search for #hydrocephalus or #HAWALK.
